WARCRAFT FOREVER BETA - THE MAGIC IS REAL

I’ve been lucky enough to spend some time in the Warcraft Forever Beta, and without spoiling a single thing… it genuinely feels special.

There’s a kind of magic to it that is really hard to explain unless you’ve been around Warcraft for a long time. It manages to feel familiar without simply feeling old, and there are moments where that proper sense of nostalgia hits you out of nowhere.

It reminds me of why so many of us fell in love with Warcraft in the first place.

Not because of item level, logs, rankings or rushing to the next objective, but because of the world itself. Exploring, finding things, getting distracted, helping someone with something completely random, and somehow losing an entire evening without really meaning to.

There’s something about Forever that brings that feeling back.

And honestly, I am so bloody excited for it to go live.

CARNAGE IS COMING TO FOREVER ❤️

When Warcraft Forever launches, Carnage Inc will absolutely have a guild there.

That doesn’t mean we’re disappearing from Retail — quite the opposite. Retail WoW will remain a huge part of Carnage, especially with our Mythic progression and Cutting Edge goals.

Forever will simply exist alongside Retail as another place for us to play together.

Some people will want to live in Forever. Some will mainly stay on Retail. Some of us will almost certainly try to do everything at once and wonder why we never have enough hours in the day.

And that’s completely fine.

For me, that’s actually one of the most exciting things about it. Carnage has never really been about one raid, one expansion or even one version of the game. It’s always been about the people.

So the thought of having Carnage Inc in both Retail WoW and Warcraft Forever, with people dipping between the two depending on what they feel like playing, just feels right.

NO SPOILERS — JUST TRUST ME

I’m deliberately not saying anything about what I’ve seen in the Beta because I genuinely think people should get to experience it themselves.

But I will say this:

If you’ve ever missed that feeling of logging into Warcraft and simply wanting to explore Azeroth, I think you’re going to understand very quickly why people are excited about Forever.

There’s nostalgia there, absolutely, but it isn’t only nostalgia.

It has that feeling of discovery again.

That little bit of Warcraft magic.

And I cannot wait until we’re all running around together, getting lost, finding things we absolutely weren’t looking for and inevitably turning one simple quest into a three-hour guild adventure.

Warcraft Forever cannot come soon enough.

And when it does…

Carnage will be there. ❤️
